Cannon Falls Education Foundation (CFEF) has awarded grants for Cannon Falls Area Schools classroom programs and equipment since 1993. CFEF supports and promotes excellence in education by providing funding for all types of educational programs and activities that are above and beyond the programs supported by general education dollars. Your tax-deductible donation helps fund these programs

Teachers and staff may request a grant by simply filling out the request form and submitting it to the CFEF Board of Directors who then reviews it. These programs have touched the lives and benefited every student in our school district.

Endowment Information

The Cannon Falls Education Foundation funds grants, in part, through interest earned on an endowment fund. CFEF continues to have a conservative investment strategy for the operating fund and endowment fund. One-third of new funds raised are added to the endowment. Each year 4% of our endowment is designated to pay for programs within our schools.
