Select High School Student Council and MN Honor Society students recently went to Northern Star Scouting to attend their Leadership Base Camp! 🤩 They participated in activities and discussions about how to identify their leadership style and be better leaders in their school, personal life, and world. ❤️🖤 #LearningInThe252

🖤❤️ Flannels and flapjacks! ❤️🖤 All the 2nd grade classes celebrated the end of our tall tales and fairy tales unit by having a flannel and flapjacks day. We wore flannel clothing to look like Paul Bunyan, then ate mini pancakes on mini plates with mini forks so we could feel BIG like Paul Bunyan! With full bellies, we settled in to watch the movie Bunyan and Babe as well! 🥞🎬 #LearningInThe252

Our first home football game is Friday night and we hope to see you all there! This is a reminder that you can purchase your tickets ahead of game time int two ways:

1. Download the Bound app through Apple or Google Play stores (Search for Bound Sports) - If you have an existing Bound account, log in with that email address. Search for Cannon Falls school in the app and favorite the school and any programs you would like to follow. Tickets and passes can be purchased directly through the app and are immediately available in the app.

2. Purchase online at online at https://www.gobound.com/mn/schools/cannonfalls/tickets - Tickets will be delivered to your email address and be available in the app (you must be logged in to the app with the same email address used to purchase the tickets)

Tips for avoiding signal issues accessing your tickets:
1. Save your tickets and passes in your Apple or Google wallet.
2. Take a screenshot of your QR code and save it in your photos or text it to some to share if you purchase multiple tickets.

Cannon Falls Schools will have a 2 hour late start on Wednsesday, September 2 due to no power at either building.

Unless we hear something from Xcel Energy Cannon Falls Schools will be in session on time on Tuesday, September 1. If something changes an emergency message will be sent when a decision is made.

Due to a power outage at the schools that is expected to last until at least 10:00 AM, school will be cancelled on Monday, August 31. Cannon Kids will be cancelled as well.

Bomber Day Conferences for elementary students are Monday August 24th 11:00am-7:00pm and Tuesday August 25th 7:30am -3:30pm. You can sign your child up using the PTC Fast Link on our website, under Menu, then scroll down under Cannon Falls Elementary School. School pictures will also take place during Bomber Days. No appointments necessary for pictures.

The 6th grade STEM class ended the year with engineering design projects. One of them was to design a sail car from the given materials that would travel the farthest powered by wind from a fan. 💨⛵️🚙 This team's sail car design was one of the best for distance traveled over multiple sail car projects over the years! 👏👏👏 #LearningInThe252 #learninginthe252
