Our first home football game is Friday night and we hope to see you all there! This is a reminder that you can purchase your tickets ahead of game time int two ways:

1. Download the Bound app through Apple or Google Play stores (Search for Bound Sports) - If you have an existing Bound account, log in with that email address. Search for Cannon Falls school in the app and favorite the school and any programs you would like to follow. Tickets and passes can be purchased directly through the app and are immediately available in the app.

2. Purchase online at online at https://www.gobound.com/mn/schools/cannonfalls/tickets - Tickets will be delivered to your email address and be available in the app (you must be logged in to the app with the same email address used to purchase the tickets)

Tips for avoiding signal issues accessing your tickets:
1. Save your tickets and passes in your Apple or Google wallet.
2. Take a screenshot of your QR code and save it in your photos or text it to some to share if you purchase multiple tickets.

Unless we hear something from Xcel Energy Cannon Falls Schools will be in session on time on Tuesday, September 1. If something changes an emergency message will be sent when a decision is made.

Due to a power outage at the schools that is expected to last until at least 10:00 AM, school will be cancelled on Monday, August 31. Cannon Kids will be cancelled as well.

Bomber Day Conferences for elementary students are Monday August 24th 11:00am-7:00pm and Tuesday August 25th 7:30am -3:30pm. You can sign your child up using the PTC Fast Link on our website, under Menu, then scroll down under Cannon Falls Elementary School. School pictures will also take place during Bomber Days. No appointments necessary for pictures.
Please call the office at 507-263-6800, option 4 for the Elementary if you have any questions.

The 6th grade STEM class ended the year with engineering design projects. One of them was to design a sail car from the given materials that would travel the farthest powered by wind from a fan. 💨⛵️🚙 This team's sail car design was one of the best for distance traveled over multiple sail car projects over the years! 👏👏👏 #LearningInThe252 #learninginthe252

Seventh grade STEM class finished up their coding unit by constructing bridges in which they could drive over their coded Sphero Bolts. 💻🤔💭 Their structures turned out great and everyone was able to meet the coding criteria for passing over the gap! 🙌 #LearningInThe252

Kindergartners recently went on a field trip to Oxbow Park Zoo in Byron. 🐵🐢🦁🐧 They got to see over 30 species of wild animals native to Minnesota and got to attend an “Animal Introductions” class. A special thank you to the parent volunteers who came along and the Cannon Falls Education Foundation for funding this trip. It was a fun, educational adventure for all! 😎🙌 #LearningInThe252

Third graders enjoyed their hands-on project building birdhouses along with parent volunteers. 🐦🪶🪺 This annual activity is a math for life project that has become a 3rd grade tradition for over thirty years.
